IMPORTANT C4U NOTICE - Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination in Residential Aged Care.

As per the Australian Government Department of Health, all residential aged care workers are required to have received a minimum first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 17 September 2021. It will be a mandatory condition of working in a residential aged care facility, and public health orders are now in place across all states.

We will require all staff that want to accept shifts within aged care to provide us with evidence of their COVID-19 vaccination, or authorised exemption to the vaccination, before 17 September 2021.

Evidence of your vaccination must be either your immunisation history statement (through the Australian Immunisation Register) or the digital COVID 19 Certificate that will be issued by Medicare.

Please use this step by step guide to find out how you can get proof of your COVID-19 vaccinations online.

Please email your vaccination record to compliance@caringforyou.net.au before 17 September in order to continue working in aged care facilities.

Once your record has been provided to us, it will be stored within your C4U app, and available for presentation on arrival to shifts, in residential aged care facilities.
