My professional life has been nursing and training. I am a Registered Division 1 Nurse and Midwife. I completed my registered nursing at St Vincent’s hospital, Lismore, New South Wales and Midwifery at Mercy Maternity Hospital Melbourne, Victoria
Whilst my children were young and I was a busy mum, I worked for nursing agencies for twelve years; which I loved. However what I found was that most agencies were run by corporations and people with no medical background and were actually sales driven with no real commitment to either the patients or the nurses. So when I had the opportunity of setting up my own agency with the support of my husband Stephen, I knew what did and didn't work. My goal was to provide a service that was simply the best for both the patients and nurses!
My vision was that everything that our Agency does from Standards of care, Shift allocations, Member's pay and Working environment must be done from a Nurse's perspective.
Today, Caring for You Nursing Agency has blossomed as a premium provider of quality Nursing Care for Allied Health Services, Hospital’s and Aged Care expanding across Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. A major part of our success is that all of our leadership and staff have dedicated their lives to caring for people. I am very proud of our fantastic personnel and professional service that provides patients with warm nurturing care and rewards nurses with terrific remuneration and friendships.
